Is it just me or is dA getting quieter as of late?

- I like the classic bust, halfbody & fullbody options, nothing special
- I like some variety (ex. design comms, ref sheets, icons, badges, etc)
- I like tons and tons of variety, often in more than one art medium

In the short frame, I'm probably part of the problem... replying three days late if it all xD
In the long term, dA is slowly dying, at least according to statistics - dA was at its peak two years ago and has been losing users since then. In 2013 they had 44 milion active users and now it's just 36 million. Also more and more people are using their phones to check the site, instead of computers. Maybe that's why the site isn't as busy as it used to be, I imagine those browsing on phones wouldn't comment as much and with less people overall it's just quiet.
Also I don't really like the site for more than normal talk. I would love to chat with people about their headworls, species, characters, stories and anything else, but it never worked out on dA for me. The conversation just dies out sooner or later or it just gets lost and nobody can ressurect it because it won't show in the inbox anymore...
